Send money quickly and securely with our free P2P or Person to Person payment service. Money is sent instantly from your PSB checking account to a friend’s bank debit card (US only).

How does it work?

In your PSB app or digital banking, you set your friend up as a payee by entering their name and phone or email. Your friend gets a text or email notification with a link. They open the link, enter their bank debit card number and expiration, and submit. Funds are sent instantly!

Wondering what sets our product apart?

  • Real-time: Our P2P product is real time, meaning money is sent on your real-time balance. Payroll deposit coming in today? You can use those funds to send money out immediately. Money is also sent real-time, so there’s no delay in receiving. Recipient will get their money loaded on their bank debit card today, not tomorrow!
  • Security: Money is sent securely from our bank to your friend’s bank—with our financial institution’s data encryption on your side.
  • Privacy: You as the sender are not giving your bank information to a third-party product or having to create a separate holding/prepaid account with another product and then take an additional step in transferring the money to your bank account.

How do I get started?

  1. To utilize P2P, you need to be enrolled in online banking.
  2. Once you are logged in, head to Move Money.
  3. Click the + sign under My Payees to add a new payee (or you can go directly to New Transaction and create from there).
  4. Select Person to Person for the payee type.
  5. Enter in your payee’s information. You may choose to hand your phone to your friend if they are near you to enter their debit card number, or you can simply send them an invite via an email or text and have them enter that information on their device.
  6. You will then select how they will receive the invite.
  7. Your recipient has now been sent an invitation (via text or email) to establish them as a payee. They click the link and enter their debit card number
  8. After they submit their card information you as the sender can now click into the payee name in your digital banking and see the status has changed from Invited to Confirmed.
  9. Once confirmed, you can now send money! Click on the payee and select Send Payment (or you can also start a New Transaction).
  10. Then enter your payment details and submit. Please note that P2P transactions are immediate and cannot be deleted/edited/returned.
  11. Afterwards, you will get a confirmation number.
  12. The funds are now sent instantly to the recipient’s bank through their debit card. (Funds availability depends on receiving bank’s policies.)
  13. Your P2P payment will show up instantly on your transaction history in PSB’s digital banking as a pending SPIN transfer (it will not show up in the scheduled transfers section of Move Money).

Send to Friends & Family

Because they are instant, P2P transactions cannot be edited, cancelled, or returned once sent. Please make sure to send money only to other people you trust. Ask yourself: If I made an error sending money, can I get that money back? For example, do not send money using P2P to an unknown recipient for an online purchase until you’ve actually received your item.

Getting started is a snap! You must be an online banking user and enrolled in mobile banking to sign up for this service.  Log in to your online banking account:

  • Go to Manage Profile
  • Under Contact Information select Phone
  • Add new mobile device
  • Once added, select view device
  • The device will need to be in a verified status to receive alerts or text banking information – send a verification code by clicking on SMS
  • Enter the 6 digit code to verify the device
  • Click on SMS Text Banking. A default account needs to be selected prior to enabling the On/Off button for both SMS Text Banking and SMS Text Alerts.
  • Click the button to enable text messaging. If more than one account is available, select the account that you would like to be the default.
  • Enable SMS for Text Alert by clicking the box

Once registered, text “BAL” to 662265to get your balance sent to you in a text message.

With Princeville State Bank Mobile Deposit, you can deposit your checks from anywhere using your mobile phone or iPad. So, you can put your money in the bank – without putting your life on hold.

Before You Deposit

You must endorse the back of the check as follows:

  • For Mobile Deposit Only
  • Princeville State Bank (DATE)
  • Your Signature or Endorsement Stamp

As You Deposit

Deposit checks using the Princeville State Bank’s Mobile Banking App:

  • Select “Deposit” from the menu within the Mobile Banking app
  • Take a picture of the front of the check
  • Take a picture of the back of the check
  • Select “Submit”

Quick Tips

  • Place the check on a flat, non-reflective surface.
  • Ensure that you have ample lighting and avoid using the flash on your camera.
  • Check to make sure the top, bottom, and side edges of the check are visible in picture.
  • Keep your phone flat and steady above the check when taking your photos.
  • Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos.
  • Make sure that the check amount entered matches the amount written on your check.

After You Deposit

  • You will only receive an email notification if there is an issue with your deposit.
  • Deposits received after 12:00 PM will be processed on the next business day.
  • Once deposited, keep your check in a secure place for at least 45 days. After 45 days, mark the check “VOID”, then shred or destroy the check in a secure manner.

Mobile deposits made after the 12:00 pm cutoff time or on Saturdays, Sundays and Federal holidays are considered made on the following bank business day.
